As you heard last month, Q2 marked the launch of our fully integrated advisor and client recruitment marketing campaigns. These programs kicked off in May and will continue to roll out new elements in the coming months. This year our focus is primarily on advisor recruitment. Our strategy is designed to ensure we reach the right advisors, engage them effectively and build relationships as we nurture qualified leads. Our key message is how Mariner uniquely supports our advisors to take on complex wealth challenges—behind every advisor is access to a team of advisors! Mariner Brand Campaign Updates

Our strategic marketing campaigns featuring the new Mariner brand launched in mid-May. The two main objectives of the campaigns are:

  • Increasing Mariner’s industry presence by enhancing brand visibility, and
  • Increasing new advisor and client acquisition. The primary focus is on advisor acquisition, with client acquisition secondary.

These highly targeted marketing campaigns are designed to connect with prospects across various forms of media, such as video across Internet-connected devices including broadcast TV, audio platforms like Spotify, trade publications, display and video ads, social media and Google search. Mariner Brand Refresh

We are excited to be 50% through our overall plan to relaunch the Mariner brand this year. The team is starting to turn their focus toward the sub-brands, including Mariner Independent, Mariner Ultra and Mariner Workplace, and getting all of the content and marketing deliverables for those teams in place that meet the new brand criteria.

The second thing we’re all really excited about and have been working hard on is the creative campaign that just launched in May. The campaign focuses on both advisor attraction and new client attraction. It features photography of a lot of our peers within the Mariner organization as well as other creative content.

This is an important month in the continued rollout of our brand evolution. Starting mid-May, we will begin running ads featuring our new brand look and messaging on media sites such as Barron’s, Wall Street Journal and YouTube, and across social media. The focus of the ads will be primarily on advisor recruitment, with client recruitment secondary. Here’s a sneak peek behind the scenes of a recent photo shoot for the brand campaign:

Work behind the scenes continues as we diligently move through execution mode of our brand evolution. The soft rollout of the new brand externally starts this week! The soft rollout focuses on Mariner Wealth initially and then sub-brands as planned out. Below are some of the exciting digital milestones ahead for both the website and email addresses—starting with the launch of the refreshed website tomorrow!

  • Mid-May: Leverage vanity URL/redirect for marketing purposes using mariner.com 
  • Q2/Q3: Develop business requirements materials and supporting execution for migration of marinerwealthadvisors.com to mariner.com 
  • Q3/Q4: Transition marinerwealthadvisors.com to mariner.com; being exploration for enterprise migration to mariner.com
